My Fees
Prices vary. They start at $300 (for a house of 1000 sq.ft. or less, on a slab, built after 1960) and go up from there. I charge more for conventional foundations (crawl space) and for older homes because they just flat take longer, sometimes a lot longer, both to inspect and report on. Beyond a certain distance I charge a little more for travel.
When the square footage goes above 2500 or so, it's also typical to start seeing more of certain items that have to be inspected; water heaters, heating and cooling systems, bathrooms, and sometimes even multiple attic or crawl space sections.
If I can't take the time to do it right I'd rather not do it. If you're looking for the cheapest guy you can find, I'm not him. I do long, thorough, quality inspections. I leave the fast, cheap, shallow inspections to others. I'll spend about as much time writing a good, solid report as they will on the entire process, start to finish. If you really believe you'll get the same level of performance from them in much less time and for much less money, then by all means hire them. I think you know better. The best is never the cheapest. Believe me, when we've gone over everything you'll know I went all of the way for you.
If you'd like a firm price, please call (662-574-5834). You'll need to know the square footage, age (at least generally), whether it's on a slab or a conventional foundation, and general location. Don't worry, I won't try to get your name and number or pitch you to death over the phone. You can give me all of that if and when you're ready to book an inspection.
And if you're wondering whether or not I take credit cards, I'm sorry, I don't. So far hardly anyone has asked me to, and all of those card services have a monthly charge whether I'm actually using them or not.
