My Philosophy

My philosophy of home inspections is simple. I am hired to inspect, document, and report whatever conditions I find at the subject property, to the best of my ability, with the ASHI Standards as the bare minimum. Your inspection should not be just a stopping place on the way to some other inspection. With me, on whatever day that is, your job is the only job.

Along with whatever problems I find, I also note and comment on any particularly strong features of the construction (rare as they are). After all, both sides are relevant to your decision.

Please understand: I am an advocate for my professional opinions only. I will neither document tiny flaws nor ignore noteworthy ones in order to improve a clients' position, or to gain the favor of anyone in the real estate business (real estate brokers or agents, mortgage brokers, bankers, etc.). My work is the same no matter who hires me or refers me. Hopefully this is exactly the kind of unbiased, professional approach you value and rely upon to make intelligent buying decisions.
